Owner Peter Yuen apprenticed under master bakers in Hong Kong, trained at a French pastry school, and worked his way up through Chicago's hotel scene — pastry chef at French Mill Bakery, recruited to the Four Seasons, then Head Baker at the Sofitel Chicago Water Tower — before opening his own shop on Argyle in 2004.
