Phoebe Robinson: Feral & Fired Up!

Thalia Hall · Pilsen

About This Event

Phoebe Robinson built her name as much on the page and the podcast feed as on stage. With Jessica Williams, she created and co-hosted 2 Dope Queens, the podcast-turned-HBO-series that ran eight hour-long specials in 2018 and 2019 and became one of the defining comedy podcasts of its era.

She's also a genuine best-selling author: her essay collections — You Can't Touch My Hair & Other Things I Still Have to Explain, Everything's Trash, But It's Okay, and Please Don't Sit on My Bed in Your Outside Clothes — have all landed on national bestseller lists, and the last of those launched her own imprint, Tiny Reparations Books, in 2021. Her debut hour-long stand-up special, Sorry, Harriet Tubman, premiered on HBO Max in October 2021.

Worth knowing: one ticket aggregator lists a conflicting October 23 Chicago date, but her own site and most sellers confirm November 6 at Thalia Hall — treat the October listing as a likely error, but double-check before buying. Resale prices run roughly $45 to $60 depending on the seller.
