Every wall is covered in local artwork, unpretentious and a little chaotic in exactly the way you'd expect from a restaurant that opened in 2003 as the sister spot to Big Chicks next door, both under longtime owner Michelle Fire. The menu goes deep on one category: eight different versions of eggs benedict alone, plus breakfast burritos, pumpkin pancakes, and corn arepas that show up on a lot of regulars' go-to orders.
It's a women-owned, LGBTQ-welcoming spot inside a vintage Art Deco building, with gluten-free and vegan options on the Sunday brunch menu treated as real menu categories rather than an afterthought.
