The guac and chips are the honest opener -- a real test of whether a kitchen cares about the basics -- and the cochinita pibil burrito is the most-recommended item on the menu by a wide margin, slow-roasted pork done in the Yucatan style rather than a generic burrito-shop filling. It's close enough to Northwestern's campus to pull a steady student crowd, but the cooking is good enough to justify the trip on its own.
No indoor seating means weather matters more here than at most restaurants -- plan around it in winter. Open Monday through Saturday (10am-6pm weekdays, 11am-6pm Saturday), closed Sundays.
