Carter, who cut his teeth as chef de cuisine at Charlie Trotter's, built a menu of elevated comfort food anchored by a double-patty burger with American cheese, kalbi egg rolls, steamed Thai mussels, and a whipped ricotta that keeps turning up on regulars' orders; Breo, a veteran of NoMI and Spiaggia, runs the bigger room and bar that give The Warbler its "sun-filled gathering place" feel -- and its name, a nod to the migratory bird that travels in large groups. Time Out gave it three stars, calling it "Gather's roomier, more relaxed younger sibling next door."
The real draw for families is the weekday Supper Club (4:30-6pm): a five-course, family-style spread -- salad, two appetizers, a vegetable or house pasta, a flatbread, dessert -- with kids nine and under eating free, though it's dine-in only.
