The Reservoir has been the family-run neighborhood gastropub on Montrose Avenue since 2012, serving scratch-made food in Uptown long before the area's newer restaurant wave arrived.

The menu changes with what's fresh and locally sourced, with hearty weekend brunch, creative dinner plates, real vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, and a kids menu — and more than 16 beers on tap, where regulars will tell you the Guinness pour and the house fries are the reasons they keep coming back. The bar runs a daily happy hour from 3 to 5pm (every day it's open; the restaurant is closed Mondays), and rotating daily specials are posted on the menu and sent by text if you sign up for the restaurant's text list.

There's outdoor seating when the weather allows, curbside pickup and delivery, and catering for groups up to 100. Hours are 3 to 11:30pm Tuesday through Thursday, 3pm to midnight Friday, 11am to midnight Saturday and 11am to 10pm Sunday.
