A $10 million renovation led by the club's first female general manager, Simona Blaugh, reinvented the space room by room, each one built around a different Frank Lloyd Wright house. Now operated under Invited Clubs (formerly ClubCorp) simply as 'The Metropolitan,' it remains membership-only: non-members generally need a member or an event to get in, with photo ID and security screening required at the door.
