It sits on Cortland Street, and the menu starts where a game-day crowd wants it to: chips with salsa and pico, a green chili quattro queso you can load with chorizo, hand-smashed guacamole, Buffalo or hot honey mustard wings, queso-and-chorizo tot-chos and a Big Game Platter that feeds two or three. Then it takes a turn. A whole section called From Mable's Table brings old favorites to a new home, with Mae's famous meatballs, a baked meatball hoagie, a grilled Sausage King of Chicago, a four-cheese cheesesteak, ribs and chicken cutlets three ways, plus Mae's mac and cheese served traditional, with meatballs or as Buffalo chicken.
