The Desi Accent

Super GemLombard (suburb) · Indian Community-sourced, unverified
📍 801 Butterfield Rd #101, Lombard, IL 60148

The Desi Accent opened in 2020; the name plays on "Desi" — how the South Asian diaspora refers to itself, from the ancient Sanskrit word for homeland — and the restaurant leans upscale and contemporary rather than casual, positioning itself as a special-occasion Indian dining room built around 4,500 years of culinary heritage rather than a quick-lunch buffet.
