Tequila Val's

Iconic/NotableEast Dundee (suburb) · Mexican Community-sourced, unverified
📍 309 Meier St, East Dundee, IL 60118

Tequila Val's occupies the completely renovated former Anvil Club building, giving it a distinctive setting that East Dundee's dining scene doesn't have a second example of.

$$
An East Dundee birria and quesabirria restaurant inside the completely renovated former Anvil Club building, holding a 4.7 rating.

The menu leans into real specialty-Mexican cooking — lamb shank birria and quesabirrias alongside standard tacos and burritos — rather than a generic combo-plate approach.

A 4.7-star rating is a strong number for a restaurant doing something this specific, and East Dundee now has two genuinely distinctive destination restaurants within walking distance of each other (this and Mockingbird Bar + Garden), a real cluster for a town this size.
