Sfera Sicilian Street Food earned one of the stronger endorsements Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives has given a Chicago restaurant: on a March 2025 episode, Guy Fieri called the arancini among the top five best he's ever eaten on the show.

Arancini that Guy Fieri called among the top 5 best he's ever had, on a March 2025 Diners Drive-Ins and Dives episode

The Edgewater counter-service spot backs that up with crisp arancini, Sicilian sandwiches, and thick-crust pizza slices, all built around a tight, street-food-focused menu rather than a full sit-down format — seating is limited enough that takeout is the practical move.

It's the kind of recent, high-conviction DDD stop that's worth tracking down specifically for the dish that got the shout-out.
