Sazon Cubano

Food + DrinkLogan Square Community-sourced, unverified
📍 2252 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60647

Sazon Cubano — sometimes marketed as 'Sazon Cubano 2.0' — now occupies the Western Avenue storefront that spent more than three decades as Paladar Cuban Restaurant & Rum Bar before COVID forced that restaurant to close for good in 2020.

$$

It's a genuine succession rather than a coincidence of address, carrying the Cuban-restaurant torch forward on the same corner. A sister location in Belmont Cragin gives the concept two footprints on the Northwest Side.

One diner review flagged an unexpected closure on a single visit, worth a confirming call before making a special trip, but nothing in broader research suggests the restaurant has shut down for good.
