Chef-owner Jason Korinek opened it on 31st Street in 2018, and the room runs a short, focused week: dinner Tuesday through Sunday, with the kitchen opening an hour early on weekends. The pasta list is the main event. Short rib gnocchi with au jus is the house signature, corn carbonara with grilled corn and bacon is the seasonal show-off, and there's a squid ink linguine arrabbiata with jumbo shrimp, a pappardelle Bolognese with stracciatella, short rib and Italian sausage, spicy rigatoni in vodka cream and a lasagna with whipped ricotta and béchamel. Starters run from cacio e pepe arancini and spicy tuna crispy rice to a fresh ricotta spread with honey and black pepper, Posto meatballs with stracciatella and sticky chicken in a balsamic-Calabrian chili glaze.

Mains include a flat iron with truffle butter, filet medallions, chicken Marsala over risotto cakes and a double-patty burger, and every fried item is cooked in beef tallow. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the kitchen adds 12-inch thin-crust pizzas. Book on OpenTable, and expect a 3 percent card processing fee on every check.
