Beyond the French Onion Burger and its built-in soup for dipping, the menu runs wide: starters, wings, deep-dish and thin-crust pizza, tacos, sandwiches, chicken entrees, ribs, pasta, and a Tavern Fish and Chips plate, plus a full dessert list. Frequent visitors point to the fish tacos and the turkey burger as the under-the-radar orders worth trying alongside the signature burger.
North Branch also runs a satellite stand inside the Glenview Community Ice Center, open mainly on weekends during games and events -- a small sign of how embedded it is in the town's routine rather than existing as a destination restaurant.
