📍 5500 W Cal Sag Rd, Alsip, IL 60803

Nick's Barbecue is a no-frills south-suburban barbecue stop on Cal Sag Road, part of a small expanding chain with sibling locations in Homer Glen, Burbank, and Stickney.

An Alsip barbecue spot from a small, expanding south-suburban chain, holding a 4.4-star rating at this location.

The full slab baby back rib dinner and the half slab are the orders regulars come back for, alongside a gyros plate that shows up in reviews as often as the barbecue does — proof this isn't a one-trick menu. Real reviews flag the brisket sandwich by name, and the homemade cream of chicken soup is, oddly, the single most-liked item on the online menu.

A 4.4-star rating across 25+ reviews backs up the reliable-over-flashy reputation.
