📍 1911 W Algonquin Rd, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008

Meetch's Wings & Things made its local debut with its own ABC7 Chicago news segment, which is a rare bar for a fast-casual wing spot to clear.

A Rolling Meadows wings-and-burgers spot cooked entirely in beef tallow, chef-owned and already covered by local TV news, holding a 4.7-star average.

The hook is real and specific: everything — wings, stacked burgers, the works — gets cooked in 100% beef tallow, a deliberate break from the seed-oil default most quick-service kitchens run on. Chef and owner Demitri Kontogiannis is hands-on enough that local coverage treats this as his restaurant, not a franchise rollout, and 141 reviews averaging 4.7 stars back up the early buzz.

For a stretch of Algonquin Road not otherwise known for a food scene, it's a genuinely new, distinct reason to stop.
