That original spot grew fast enough to outgrow its building, so the Braglias bought a larger venue at 1905 N. Harlem Ave -- a space that had already cycled through other restaurants before they took it over, a real second-act building rather than a ground-up construction. This Rosemont location followed in 1992, as the business expanded toward O'Hare.
More than three decades in, Maria is still involved day to day, working alongside her sister and sons -- a genuine family operation still run by its founder, not a name that got licensed out once the original owners stepped back. Regulars keep coming back for the chicken milanesa, pork tacos, and chips with homemade salsa, margaritas served on the rocks.
