Khao man gai done with real attention to its Hainanese-Chinese roots (shumai on the same menu), plus a dessert list that goes past mango sticky rice to include khanom tuay coconut custard — rare specificity for a Thai menu in the city.

The restaurant takes that history seriously — the shumai on the menu is a direct nod to the dish's Chinese roots, served alongside the chicken-and-rice itself rather than as an unrelated add-on.
