That reputation for grilled-to-order kabobs and tandoori chicken has held for two decades, even as reviews have gotten more mixed in recent years -- Devon-focused review sites show an average closer to 3.6 out of 5, with some diners flagging inconsistent quality while others still praise the ribs and the Kashmiri tea.
Entrees have historically run cheap for the quality, in the $9-to-$12 range. It remains a no-frills operation -- Time Out's guide to classic Devon restaurants notes that consistency has built loyalty here more than any attempt at polish, which matches the three-generations-of-regulars reputation the restaurant has built.
