Kama's Wicker Park location proves the La Grange original's family formula travels well — father-and-son team Manmohan and Vikram Singh built this spinoff around the same regional Indian and Indian-inspired-American menu, but dressed it up with dishes like paneer ravioli and tandoori sea bass alongside the expected malai kofta and a tikka masala built on a creamy, smoky tomato base.

The real reason to learn the weekly calendar here: Tap & Tikka Tuesday, a Wine Flight Wednesday, a Cocktail Flight Thursday, and a Sunday Family Feast each give the week its own reason to show up, on top of a standing happy hour and an actual after-hours bar service Friday and Saturday nights.

It's vegetarian- and vegan-friendly enough that OpenTable singles it out specifically for that strength, with the ghee braised cauliflower getting particular praise.
