One of the oldest jazz clubs in the country, opened in 1947 by Joe Segal and still run by his son Wayne out of Dearborn Station in the South Loop.

This isn't a jazz-adjacent bar with a band in the corner — it's a dedicated listening room with live music most nights of the week, the kind of place touring and Chicago-based jazz musicians treat as a real stop, not a side gig.
