📍 1306 E 47th St, Chicago, IL 60653

Italian Fiesta Pizzeria has built a genuine South Side following across its handful of locations, and the Kenwood spot on 47th Street runs the same tavern-style pizza that's made this a five-location chain rather than a one-off.

A long-running South Side pizza chain institution — call ahead, since pickup waits routinely run 45+ minutes.

The reputation precedes the food in a specific way here: PMQ's own trade coverage notes that a pickup order can run a 45-minute wait, which is less a complaint than a measure of how busy the ovens stay. It's squarely a neighborhood institution rather than a destination restaurant — the kind of place locals call in an order to ahead of time rather than walk in and wait, a tip that shows up often enough in reviews to be worth repeating.

There's no posted discount here; the draw is simply a reliable, well-loved pizza that's been feeding this stretch of the South Side for years.
