Happy Camper is the pizza-and-party concept from Happy Hospitality, the group Clay Hamilton and Josh Iachelli grew out of their original Homeslice in Lincoln Park, and the Wrigleyville location on Clark Street is built for exactly what that neighborhood does best: big patio, a heated outdoor space and rooftop once it gets cold, disco balls, neon, and game-day watch parties a long fly ball from the ballpark.

Two deals do the heavy lifting. Weekday happy hour (Monday through Friday, 3 to 6pm) is one of the better ones near Wrigley: $10 Grey Goose espresso martinis, $9 spritzes (Aperol, Sarti or the house 'trailer park queen'), a $7 glass of the day and $5 select beers, with cheap bites to match — $6 jalapeño 'homies' with bacon and cheddar, two crunchy beef tacos for $8, two smashburger sliders for $9 and a $12 charcuterie board. The fine print: none of it applies on Cubs game days or during special events. Brunch is the other draw.

Bottomless Bloody Marys or mimosas run $35 per person with a two-hour limit — Fridays starting at 10:30am and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 1:30pm — and the house Bloody Mary is the one the menu brags was voted among Chicago's best. The pizza comes two ways, a chewy classic crust or a thin, square-cut tavern style, with gluten-free crust available on smalls. Hours run late (until midnight most weeknights, 1am Friday and Saturday), and reservations are taken.
