Gilded Fork

Super GemMount Prospect · Polish/Modern European Community-sourced, unverified
📍 1716 E Kensington Rd, Mount Prospect, IL 60056

The Gilded Fork takes Polish cooking somewhere most Chicago-area versions of it don't bother going: a genuinely chef-driven, modern-European tasting room in Mount Prospect rather than a steam-tray buffet.

$$$

Reviewers single out the beef pierogi and mushroom risotto, and one diner called it a new gem in the northwest suburbs outright. The room seats up to 80 and doubles as a private-event and catering space for birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate gatherings.

There's no happy hour or discount to chase here — the pitch is straightforwardly the food and the room, priced at a real sit-down-dinner level ($31-$50 a person) rather than a bargain.
