The group, since expanded under BG Hospitality, has leaned hard into a Roman-style, double-baked pan pizza -- cooked in a conventional oven using a method the owners say traces back more than a century in Rome, producing a lighter, fluffier crumb than a typical Chicago slice. Bomberger has called the Arancini in Vodka Sauce the group's single best-selling item, alongside the Rocket Man pie, Wild Mushroom Truffle Pizza, and meatball sliders that round out the Elmhurst menu. The pizzas come out on an 8-by-12-inch pan, with at least 13 signature options to choose from.
A third location is reportedly planned for Western Springs. Kid-friendly, with high chairs for infants.
