The rooms are modern and lively, with private party spaces and an intimate bar, and the menu covers more ground than the name suggests: fresh, carefully sourced seafood, hand-rolled sushi and a range of Italian and global plates. The signature is the almond-crusted whitefish with roasted Brussels sprouts and lemon-butter sauce, which the restaurant has served more than a quarter-million times, and it shares the fish list with horseradish-crusted whitefish, pistachio-crusted Alaskan halibut, branzino Vesuvio, barbecued ginger salmon and jumbo lump crab cakes. The sushi bar turns out spicy tuna, California and sweet potato rolls plus crispy rice, and the Italian side runs to housemade gnocchi alla vodka and spaghetti and meatballs.
There are two deals worth planning around. The three-course Supper Club, $29.95 with a glass of wine, runs every afternoon until 5pm (4:30 on weekends), and weekday happy hour in the bar from 3 to 5:30 brings $5 beers, $8 old fashioneds and margaritas, $9 martinis and a $10 smash burger called the Di Double. It's open daily from 11:30am, and a 3 percent surcharge can be removed on request.
