The longanisa croissant — sweet-savory Filipino sausage baked into a French croissant — alongside a turon danish and a pandan-cream Basque cake; the kind of lineup that built weekend lines long enough to force a next-door expansion.

Owner Justin Lerias' longanisa croissant (the sweet-savory sausage baked right into the dough) is the one every outlet points to first, but the case runs deeper: a turon danish built around caramelized banana jam, a Basque cake topped with pandan cream, and a rotating lineup of ube, pandan, and turon lattes alongside straight espresso and house-made chai. The demand got loud enough that Lerias closed the original Damen Ave storefront in mid-June for an expansion into the space next door — more production room, and finally some real seating to replace the grab-and-go-only setup that had people eating croissants standing on the sidewalk.

The reopening slipped past the original July target, but a Time Out review from mid-September treats the shop as back open and still calling it one of the city's best bakeries. No happy hour or discount exists here — it's a bakery that sells out most mornings on reputation alone, no deal required.
