Daisies

Iconic/NotableLogan Square · Italian Community-sourced, unverified
📍 2375 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647

Chef Joe Frillman opened Daisies in Logan Square in 2017 around a pasta-focused, Midwest-produce-driven menu that changes with the seasons rather than running a fixed pasta list.

A super laid-back, kid-friendly vibe means this is one of the rare spots where a family dinner and a nice night out aren't mutually exclusive.

It's won a Jean Banchet Award and made Michelin's Bib Gourmand list, and accommodates vegetarian and gluten-free requests on request — real dietary flexibility built into a pasta-first menu, not an afterthought.

It also holds a Michelin Green Star for sustainability, and applies a 25% automatic service charge to all dine-in checks — disclosed upfront, worth knowing before the bill arrives.
