Curry a la Flambe leans all the way into its own name — a genuine tableside flambe show, not just a cute menu item, with the Chicken Makhani Inferno and a flambe mango habanero paneer both finished in open flame right at the table.

It's Indian fusion built for spectacle as much as flavor, though the Galouti Kebab Sliders and a Xacuti Chicken Curry get just as much reviewer praise without any of the theater. A full bar backs it up with drinks that play the same fusion game — pineapple-ginger mojitos, a smoked Desi old fashioned, and Indian beer.

Owned by husband-and-wife Niaz Sathar and Patrycja Szkutnik, it's new enough to Glen Ellyn (opened October 2025) that it's still building its reputation the old-fashioned way: word of mouth from a genuinely distinctive table-side show.
