Ciao Baby!

Food + DrinkDowntown Barrington · Italian Community-sourced, unverified
📍 232 E Main St, Barrington, IL 60010

Ciao Baby! runs on a simple rule that most restaurants have abandoned: 13 tables, no reservations, first come first served.

$$
A 13-table, no-reservations family Italian spot in downtown Barrington — get there early or wait, the food is worth it either way.

That kind of constraint usually means a kitchen confident enough in its food to let the wait speak for itself, and the menu backs it up — family recipes passed down through generations, an Italian jambalaya special that suggests a kitchen willing to bend tradition a little, a create-your-own pasta option, and stuffed lasagna that gets specifically called out by regulars.

It's a small room doing a big, loyal business in downtown Barrington, the kind of place locals know to show up early for rather than call ahead.
