The format leans practical rather than flashy: a BYOB policy that keeps the total check down, and a reported $6.50 weekday lunch special that would be a genuine steal if it's still running at that price. It sits in a stretch of North Broadway with real Thai-restaurant density, including the separate, nearby Coup de Thai — a reminder to double check you've got the right address before ordering.
Che Thai's approach seems to be consistency over reinvention: a straightforward neighborhood Thai kitchen that's earned its review volume one regular lunch order at a time rather than through a splashy opening or press cycle.
