The homemade Rigatoni Vita Mia, in a light cream vodka sauce with crumbled sausage. Start with Nonna's Meatball, a jumbo meatball with marinara and ricotta.

The family has been at it since 1985. What began as one restaurant run by Momma Capri grew into a family legacy of more than ten locations, and this one still cooks from the family's recipes. The menu is red-sauce Italian with no apologies. Start with Calamari alla Capri pan-fried in spicy red-pepper oil, stuffed gnocchi deep-fried and served with vodka sauce, or Nonna's Meatball, a jumbo meatball with marinara and ricotta. The house rigatoni is homemade, and the Vita Mia, tossed in a light cream vodka sauce with crumbled sausage, is the order that brings people back.

Chicken and veal come eight ways, from Parmigiana and Marsala to Saltimbocca and a lightly breaded version with arugula, tomato and olives called "Forget About It." Linguini Pescatore piles mussels, clams, shrimp and calamari into your choice of red, marinara or white sauce. Google reviewers keep describing the owner working the floor and the regulars treating the place like family, and at least one ended the night with a cocktail and a cigar outside. It's open Wednesday through Sunday from 4pm. Book on OpenTable, because the dining room fills on weekends, or order delivery through Uber Eats.
