📍 4420 S Cottage Grove Ave, Chicago, IL 60653

Bronzeville Winery is a women-owned wine bar and restaurant doing contemporary American small plates, cheese boards, and curated wine and whiskey flights, with live music Wednesdays and Sundays and DJs taking over Thursday through Saturday.

The shrimp and grits are the Southern-inspired standout, and the smoked turkey greens round out a menu built with real intention.

Monday and Tuesday are reserved for private events rather than regular service — the space scales from an intimate gathering to a 300-guest buyout.

Happy hour runs Wednesday and Thursday, 4-6pm, with rotating $10 small plates and curated wines; reviews are mixed on value against the automatic 20% service charge, worth knowing going in rather than finding out on the check.
