That's a real choice in a neighborhood where a Thai kitchen isn't the obvious bet, and it's lasted since a November 2011 opening — long enough to outlast plenty of restaurants that opened with a bigger splash. The menu runs through the expected register (miso soup, pad thai, rice dishes) without trying to be anything more than a genuinely good neighborhood Thai spot.
There's no posted discount here; the pitch is simply that it's real Thai food, done consistently, in a part of the Southwest Side that doesn't have many alternatives if that's what you're craving.
