The menu is reasonably priced and genuinely varied — sandwiches, salads, soups, coffee, pastries, milkshakes and smoothies — but Doug's Club is the one regulars order on autopilot: chicken salad, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on toasted whole wheat, simple and exactly as good as a 20-year-old recipe should be. Egg sandwiches start under $4, vegan and vegetarian options are on the menu too, and the space is built for families with kids rather than a quiet solo breakfast.
It's open daily, including weekends, closing by 3 PM every day — a real breakfast-and-lunch specialist, not an all-day spot pretending at dinner.
