Fernando Fermin and Vanessa Rodriguez built the menu around homemade arepas (a shrimp-stuffed Mochima, a grilled-steak Llanera) that honor the traditional cooking of home, but the kitchen doesn't stop at tradition: a Caribbean chicken sandwich — grilled chicken, cheese, bacon, pineapple, and avocado on a pretzel bun — made Yelp's list of the 100 best sandwich shops in America.
It's a small space doing a lot with a tight menu, confirmed still running as recently as an October 2025 city health inspection.
