Zac Brown Band: Love & Fear Tour
About This Event
The stadium-country version of a bar band — a set that swings from radio hits to genuine bluegrass detours over two-plus hours, with Grace Potter opening this time around.
Zac Brown started the band in Atlanta in 2002, but the real origin story runs through a restaurant, not a record label: in 2004, he and his father opened a Southern-cooking music club called Zac's Place in the Lake Oconee area of Georgia, using it to build a following one live show at a time. When a developer bought the property out from under them, the band used the money to buy a tour bus instead and started touring full-time — rock clubs, country bars, folk and jam-band festivals, wherever would book them. That relentless road schedule built the audience that turned Zac Brown Band into one of country music's most consistently platinum-selling acts.
Worth knowing before you go: parking at Allstate Arena runs about $25 on top of the $87-and-up ticket price, so budget both into the night, not just the ticket.
