Rod Wave: Don't Look Down Tour

United Center · Near West Side

About This Event

Don't Look Down came out August 28, 2026 — Rod Wave's seventh album in seven years, and his first full-length since 2024's Last Lap. The Florida rapper's whole career has run on a version of the same formula: melodic, soul-inflected street rap that leans into pain and regret rather than flexing, and the rollout leaned into that tone from the start, opening with a funeral-themed trailer from his own production company, Mainstay Films.

The lead single, 'Piece of Your Love,' peaked at No. 86 on the Hot 100 — not a runaway crossover hit, but Rod Wave's audience has never needed one to fill an arena. FRIDAYY opens this stop.

Worth knowing: this show lands on Halloween night, so plan parking and transit around a United Center crowd on an already-busy weekend downtown. A few ticket sites also list a second United Center date on Nov 1 — that could be a genuine two-night stand or aggregator confusion, so confirm the exact night on Ticketmaster before buying. Resale prices are running well above face value, roughly $111–$139 depending on the seller.
