Whitney's Cafe

Iconic/NotableOak Lawn (suburb) · American Community-sourced, unverified
📍 9333 S Cicero Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453

Whitney's Cafe has done something unusual for a hotel restaurant: it's become a genuine neighborhood favorite in its own right, consistently voted 'Best Restaurant' and 'Best Service' across the whole Chicago Southland region, not just among Hilton guests.

$$
Consistently voted 'Best Restaurant' and 'Best Service' across the entire Chicago Southland region — a hotel restaurant locals actually choose, not just guests.

Open long hours daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it leans on simple, hearty cooking rather than trying to out-fancy its hotel-restaurant label, backed by a real wine and beer list that goes beyond the standard banquet-bar selection.

For Oak Lawn, having an award-winning all-day dining option that locals actually seek out, not just hotel guests, is a genuine asset.
