The Radicle opened in Logan Square in January 2026, in the Milwaukee Avenue space that used to be Daisies' original home, after more than $1 million in renovation costs and roughly two years of delays -- a timeline chef Joe Frillman, a James Beard semifinalist, has been candid about rather than glossing over.

A real return to the $10 cocktail — Sunday Negroni, Sbagliato Rossini — alongside a raw bar and wood-fired pizzas from the Daisies team, open late (1-2am) in the same Milwaukee Avenue space Daisies started in.

It's the late-night, Italian-leaning sibling to Daisies rather than a direct replacement: a raw bar built around oysters and deviled eggs with trout roe, wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas (a mushroom pie with funky cheeses is an early standout), grilled octopus, branzino al forno, and crispy lake perch with whitefish tonnato, all run under bar director Nicole Yarovinsky, a two-time Spirited Award nominee. The drink program leans aperitivo -- a Sunday Negroni, a Sbagliato Rossini made with Lambrusco and strawberries -- anchored by a deliberate return to the $10 cocktail at a moment when that price point has mostly disappeared from Chicago bar menus.

It's open late most nights (until 1am, 2am Friday and Saturday), built specifically for the after-dinner crowd that Daisies itself was never quite designed for.
