The Moughrabi family runs deep in restaurant kitchens: Rashad has said his father, a cousin also in Hyde Park, and three uncles back in the Middle East are all chefs too. The move came with an expanded menu, including maklouba, a layered dish of meat, eggplant, and rice steamed together and then flipped onto the plate.
This is specifically Palestinian cooking, not a generalized Middle Eastern menu — hummus, falafel, shawarma, and fresh pita built from a specific regional tradition rather than a pan-Arab sampler. Closed Mondays.
