Tank Noodle — officially Pho Xe Tang, which translates to exactly what the English name says — has anchored Broadway between Ainslie and Argyle since Vietnamese refugees built this stretch of Uptown into Little Saigon starting in the 1970s. It's a longtime family-owned operation, and the menu reflects decades of not needing to simplify for anyone: roughly 200 items spread across appetizers, banh mi, congee, pho, noodle dishes, rice plates, and more, printed as a legitimate book rather than a laminated single-sheet.
