Sweet Maple Cafe

Food + DrinkLittle Italy · Breakfast/Brunch Community-sourced, unverified
📍 1339 W Taylor St, Chicago, IL 60607

Sweet Maple Cafe is the reason there's a line down Taylor Street on Saturday mornings.

$$

This is a breakfast-only operation — no dinner, no late-night menu, just eggs, biscuits, and a Millionaire's Bacon that regulars bring up unprompted. The Sweet Maple Special (two eggs, bacon or sausage, home fries or grits, biscuit or toast) is the anchor order, and the weekend brunch menu adds pancakes and omelets into the mix.

It's the kind of place that doesn't need a happy hour or a coupon to pull a crowd — the wait itself is the proof of concept.
