Spiro's Deli

Iconic/NotableGlenview (suburb) · Deli Community-sourced, unverified
📍 1210 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025

Spiro's Deli has run continuously since 1967, opened by Spiro and Catherine Nestos and now carried on by their son Peter — a genuine two-generation family deli with a 4.5-star average across 192 reviews.

$
A Glenview deli run by the same family since 1967, holding a 4.5-star average across 192 reviews, planning a relocation to downtown Glenview with extended hours.

It's significant enough locally that its planned relocation to Glenview's new Downtown District (1880 Glenview Rd) made dedicated local news coverage, and the move comes with meaningfully extended hours (9 AM to 9 PM, up from its current shorter schedule).

This is the kind of established neighborhood deli that earns real press attention just for moving down the street.
