SoHo Sweets Creamery & Cafe

Downtown South Holland · Cafe / Ice Cream Community-sourced, unverified

📍 16129 South Park Ave, South Holland, IL 60473

SoHo Sweets Creamery & Cafe is unusual in a specific way: it's owned by the Village of South Holland itself, a municipal investment in downtown foot traffic rather than a typical private storefront.

A village-owned South Holland cafe and ice cream shop downtown, home to a relocated Lansing coffee shop, Sherman's ice cream, and house-made breakfast and lunch.

It houses a relocated Lansing coffee shop alongside Sherman's ice cream and house-made breakfast and lunch, earning its own dedicated feature from a regional tourism blog specifically calling it 'the cutest little cafe, ice cream shop and coffeehouse' in the area.

For a downtown corridor that a civic government chose to invest directly in, it's become a genuine anchor — the kind of cafe locals build routines around precisely because the village wanted exactly that outcome.
