Rubi Agave Latin Kitchen, Tequila & Whiskey Bar

Super GemHomer Glen (suburb) · Latin American / Cuban Community-sourced, unverified
📍 12622 W 159th St, Homer Glen, IL 60491

Rubi Agave packs a Latin bistro, a serious tequila-and-whiskey bar, and a small live-music venue into one Homer Glen address.

The bar side claims over 100 types of tequila and whiskey plus a house margarita blend and sangria; the kitchen side turns out a Cuban sandwich reviewers rank above what they've had in Cuba or Miami, a slow-cooked beef short rib costilla taino, and mini jibaritos piled with steak, beans, and cheese on fried plantains.

Live music and DJs keep it loud on the right night, and the after-work happy hour crowd treats it as a regular stop.
