A late-2025 kitchen fire shut DineAmic Hospitality's flagship steakhouse at LaSalle and Wacker, and it reopened on July 18 after roughly six months of rebuilding. The pitch didn't change: a deliberately old-school steakhouse styled after early-20th-century supper clubs, with a 500-square-foot dry-aging room lined in Himalayan salt and a 1,200-degree broiler that sends steaks out on sizzling plates with sea salt and Wisconsin grass-fed butter. The beef is Linz Heritage USDA Prime black Angus, and the 45-day dry-aged cuts are the reason to come: an 18oz bone-in Kansas City strip ($89.99), a 22oz bone-in ribeye ($99.99), or a 36oz porterhouse for the table. There's a separate A-5 Japanese wagyu card, a shellfish tower at $45.99 a person, and a sundae cart for the finish. The smartest way in is happy hour, weekdays 4 to 6PM and all evening on Sunday (4-9PM): $1.50 oysters, classic cocktails and martinis, and what the restaurant bills as half off all bar selections.

Live music plays in the bar on Thursday (5-7:30PM) and Friday and Saturday (6:30-9PM). The bar takes walk-ins; the dining room books on OpenTable up to 60 days out for parties of up to 12. The dress code is "sophisticated-casual," so leave the ball cap and gym shorts at home. Thanksgiving Day brings a carving-station buffet from 11AM to 7PM.
