The menu is small and specific rather than trying to be everything — handmade pastas, panini, flatbread pizzas, biscotti, a curated (not exhaustive) wine list, plus espresso drinks and grab-and-go retail Italian imports for the people stocking their own pantry. It's open midday into early evening rather than chasing a dinner-service crowd, which fits the cafe-not-restaurant identity it's clearly going for.
Too new for a track record yet, but a real family story and a tight, confident menu are a better bet than most first-year openings get.
