The bibimbap is the order everyone mentions: rice, vegetables and protein in a bowl you mix with gochujang yourself, or the hot stone version that crisps the rice against the dolsot while you eat — reviewers single out the bulgogi in both. From there the menu runs to the cold-weather staples: army stew (budae jjigae, the spicy, ham-and-ramen hot pot born in postwar Korea), seafood ramen and spicy ramen, japchae glass noodles, and a crisp kimchi jeon pancake to share. Meals come with banchan side dishes, and the house 'handcraft ades' are the move if you're not drinking.
It's casual, quick and affordable, with a small dining room, carryout and delivery. Hours are tight, though — 11am to 8pm Tuesday through Saturday, closed both Sunday and Monday — so check the day before you make the drive. There's no standing deal here; the value is simply a lot of good food for the price.
