Osteria Ottimo

Iconic/NotableOrland Park (suburb) · Italian Community-sourced, unverified
📍 16111 S La Grange Rd, Orland Park, IL 60467

Osteria Ottimo backs up its name (Italian for 'excellent') with kitchen fundamentals most places only claim: pasta made by hand every single morning, fish flown in daily rather than held frozen, meats aged in-house, produce sourced from a named local farmer.

$$$
TripAdvisor's top-rated restaurant in Orland Park: hand-made pasta every morning, daily-flown fish, in-house-aged meats, 4.8 stars across 2,601 OpenTable reviews.

That level of rigor shows up in the numbers — 2,601 OpenTable reviews averaging 4.8 stars, and an outright 'best restaurant in Orland Park' ranking on TripAdvisor. It's old-school Italian technique filtered through a modern-plating sensibility rather than either a red-sauce throwback or a trend-chasing reinvention.

For a southwest-suburb dining scene with plenty of competent Italian options, this is the one locals point to as genuinely exceptional.
